This Privacy Policy describes how Viberostech ("we", "us") handles information when you play Letter Chain ("the game"), a Turkish word puzzle.
1. Information we collect
- Anonymous account: On first launch we create an anonymous account tied to a randomly generated device identifier — no email, no phone, no social login required.
- Sign in with Apple / Google (optional): If you link your account to Apple or Google, we store the account identifier the provider gives us and the email address it shares with us, so you can recover your progress on another device and see in Settings which account is linked. Apple may give us a private relay address instead of your real email. We do not use this email for marketing.
- Public profile (optional): A display name, a unique @username and a city/region you choose are shown to other players on leaderboards.
- Progress & economy: Levels completed, stars earned, hints used, coin balance, daily streak, and reward claims are stored on our servers so your progress survives reinstalls and is safe from cheating.
- Usage analytics & attribution: Gameplay events (game starts, level completions, ad views, purchases) via Firebase Analytics and Amplitude, and install attribution via AppsFlyer, help us improve gameplay and measure marketing.
- Crash reports: Anonymous crash data (stack trace, device model, OS version) via Firebase Crashlytics.
- Advertising identifier (IDFA): Only if you grant permission via the App Tracking Transparency prompt. Used to make ads more relevant.
- Purchase receipts: Apple App Store and Google Play deliver signed receipts for in-app purchases; we verify them on our server. RevenueCat helps us track entitlements across devices.
2. How we use the information
- To run the game (progress, daily puzzles, leaderboard ranking).
- To diagnose crashes and improve stability.
- To detect cheating (server-validated daily/spin cooldowns and coin transactions).
- To show ads and measure ad performance.
- To deliver in-app purchases and subscriptions.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Advertising
Letter Chain shows banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads via Google AdMob to free-tier users. We request your permission via the App Tracking Transparency prompt on first launch. If you decline, you will see non-personalized ads. Premium subscribers see no ads.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data with:
- Google Firebase (analytics, crash reporting)
- Amplitude (product analytics)
- AppsFlyer (install attribution)
- Apple and Google sign-in (only if you choose to link your account)
- Google AdMob (ad serving and measurement)
- Apple App Store and Google Play (purchase processing)
- RevenueCat (subscription entitlement tracking)
- Railway (our hosting provider for game backend)
5. Your rights
- Access: Email us and we'll provide a copy of your data.
- Deletion: In the app, open Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently deletes your progress, coins, purchases history, profile, linked Apple/Google identities and stored email from our servers, and revokes Sign in with Apple. You can also email info@viberostech.com to request deletion. Step-by-step: delete your account.
- Opt-out of tracking: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your iPhone.
- Opt-out of notifications: Settings → Notifications in the app.
6. Children
Letter Chain is suitable for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Parents who believe their child has provided us with personal information may contact us for removal.
7. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own (including the United States via Firebase and Apple). We rely on standard contractual clauses where required.
8. Data retention
Game progress is retained for as long as your account exists. Crash reports are retained for 90 days. Analytics events are retained for 14 months per Firebase defaults. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the game.
